About Dr. Harriss
Since 2002, Dr. Molly Harriss has been dedicated to serving families in Maryville, Alcoa, and Blount County Tennessee, as a General Dentist and owner of Blue Ridge Family Dentistry. She is committed to providing compassionate care, emphasizing empathy, and preserving tooth structure whenever possible. Dr. Molly Harriss focuses on quality, functionality, and reliability, prioritizing her patients' personal goals and needs.
For over two decades, Dr. Molly Harriss has earned recognition and honors from multiple dental organizations, including recognition from the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain for her expertise in treating Temporomandibular Disorder (TMJ). Twenty years later, she completed the LSU orofacial pain continuum to further advance her treatment of orofacial pain. She is skilled in placing and restoring dental implants and performing occlusal analysis, advocating for balanced occlusion in the tradition of the late Dr. Peter Dawson.
Dr. Molly Harriss also holds a Master's of Science in Orthodontics. She offers a wide range of orthodontic treatments, including dual-phase treatment for early prevention of occlusal issues, Invisalign, and orthognathic surgical solutions when necessary. Notably, she has chosen not to limit her license to orthodontic treatment in Tennessee, believing that such restrictions would unduly limit the comprehensive care she can provide to her patients. Dr. Molly Harriss has also received extensive training from FACE Revolution Orthodontics, a specialized branch of orthodontics focusing on balancing occlusion and aesthetics.
